Stagecraft Essentials: Body Movement and Character Building

Course description:

Over 10 weeks, this course offers a hands-on journey into the heart of stage acting. Participants will discover the power of simple body movements—like mimics and posture—and how these subtle shifts can speak volumes to an audience. Beyond the physical, the course delves into the essence of character building. With straightforward techniques, students will explore the depths of roles, aiming to connect more deeply with their characters and, in turn, with their audience. By the course's end, the hope is for actors to feel more grounded, genuine, and at home on stage.
