The plan:

Go to the Efteling on February 24th, making use of public transportation, and spend the day in the park.

Travelling to

We will meet up together at 7:30 at Maastricht train station. It is important we travel together, all of us, because of the group tickets.  During this trip, we will make use of the train, for which you can use the group tickets, and the bus. The bus will be your own cost and cannot be paid for/bought beforehand.

Entering the park

Because of the group tickets, we will have to enter the park together. If you aren’t there with us at the time we do, you will not be able to get inside. Please keep this in mind.

In the park

We’re all adults, so in the park you’re free to walk with whomever you want. Though we advise against wandering off alone, simply because we’d prefer nobody to get lost.

Going home

You’re techtnically allowed to leave whenever, too. But, once again, with the NS Group ticket, it’s a travel together deal. We will take the trains and busses back to Maastricht together. 

Costs

Costs include, depending on which ticket you choose, Park entry and the Train ticket.

Costs exclude, the bus trip from Tilburg to the Efteling and food for the day.

• You are responsible for your own snacks, lunch and dinner throughout the day.

The Efteling is incredibly accessible and allows for a lot of amenities regarding disabilities.

FAQ:

“How will we be doing food - would we bring it or go to a restaurant there”

You will be in charge of bringing your own food. The park itself offers plenty of food options, naturally, but these aren’t very cheap. We advise you to bring a packed lunch, snacks and of course a refillable bottle of water.

The park closes at 18:00, so for dinner options you will likely have to seek something at the train station on the way back.
